Week of 2/11-2/15

Both girls finished their book reports and were exited to get to go into the reward jar for the first time! Brooke drew out a coupon that allowed her to get out of chores and Kayti drew out a coupon good for the purchase of one new CD. She picked out a Radio Disney CD featuring Emily Osment, Jonas Brothers and several other faves, of course Hannah Montana, too.

We had our second meeting of Spanish co-op at the Nielsen's house on Wednesday and pretty much the rest of our work week was the same, just trucking along.

On Thursdays, the girls performed a puppet show for Valentine's Day for Deb's Daycare singing several age appropriate "love" songs (Jesus Loves Me, Barney "I love you", You are my sunshine, etc.)

Afterward, we had Children's Theatre and on the spur of the moment we decided to take sweet Allie with us! She is 2 1/2, very smart and one of the most beautiful children I've ever seen. She belongs to a friend of my sister's and my mom keeps her during the day. I don't think she got a lot out of the Adventures of Tom Sawyer (in fact, she and I BOTH fell asleep!) but she was excited to get to go somewhere and we were so happy to take her along!



On Friday, we met with our homeschool group for a Valentine's Luncheon and Card Box Competition. Both girls got a goody bag and an honorable mention.
