4/7-4/11

This week we will test on Electricity and Motion and finish up on Ancient India and Missionaries. Brooke is going to do a project on a missionary and I am especially looking forward to it because I find missionary stories fascinating and still haven't ruled that out completely as something I may do one day.

We finished our Spanish Co-op a few weeks ago and are thinking about what to do next. We are leaning towards French since I already have that curriculum.

I am anxious to hear the results of the co-op survey the homeschool group conducted a few weeks ago for next year. I hope there were enough responses to try again for next school year.

We still have not made any decisions about CORE.

Today, Brooke has Camp Fire and will finish up her pottery project. Then it's off to ballet. Tomorrow is our other dance classes. Wednesday is duet practice and Thursday is violin and a practice track meet and we'll try and squeeze in a piano lesson in there somewhere.

Tomorrow, I turn 38 and as I reflect back on my life (like I do every year), there are some definite places I want to improve. But I can't think of anything I'd rather be doing that homeschooling my girls! What a joy!
