Big Fun!

Our "neighborhood" pool (aka Zamora Park, from which we live only 1/2 mile) opened this week. This is how we spend our summers. They have a huge lake with good fishing for the boys while the girls and I lounge by the pool. Okay, *I* lounge by the pool. The girls are generally IN the pool. It's a very relaxed atmosphere. Not many "rules". Just be safe and have fun.

Last year, Pop got Dylan his very own boat! But he didn't get to take it out because neither of our vehicles had a way of towing. So when we got our tax money this year, we had a tow package put on Jeff's jeep. Then we had to get the safety chains, hitch, blah blah blah. We still have to get some trailer lights if we ever want to take it anywhere besides Zamora. But at least he was able to finally get it into the water for the first time!

When the girls do get waterlogged, they just head for the playground which is within sight of mom, still sitting in the chaise!

Driving to the beach or the mountains? I'd love to. But been there, done that and with gas at $4 a gallon, I think I'll pass. Maybe a short little trip later in the year. Vacations in Europe? Been there, done that, too. Hopefully, I'll get to go again someday. Someplace exotic like Australia or Africa? That's on the list, too. Cruising? Been there, done that, too and really didn't care much for it. Not for Carnival anyway. For now, I'll be content with my Zamora Park!
